Website Designs
Designing a site for use on the web has to incorporate a wide spectrum of
variables to achieve effectiveness and performance. There must be a plan with
structure to complete the overall content and functionality of the website.
The website concept can originate from a number of sources, such as another
website, a website template or even the imagination of a layout. The concept or
objective of the site must be able to be achieved by the layout and theme of the
desired resource. The concern here is not to be limited by the design with the
use of visual affects like flash with respect to functionality and performance.
The verbiage and word usage contained within the site are the most effective
component and should never be sacrificed in any way.
The verbiage and word usage should reflect the website owner, the concept and
nature of the web site and search engine optimization. This is not easily
achieved and takes commitment and time to achieve and refine.
Graphics and images should only be used to enhance the pages within the site
to be pleasing to the eye and emphasis objectives. Graphics and images reduce
site performance and the required objective should out weight the performance
sacrifice.
Colors, text and fonts play a significant role and should always be pleasing
to the eye, grammatically correct and organized strategically as well as
structurally.
