Kessler Associates evolved from computer networking and consulting to
website designing and maintenance in 1996, when Microsoft rolled out the
first edition of FrontPage. I worked for many big companies over the
years such as CompUSA, OfficeDepot, OfficeMax and AT&T, but it was
through my own work that I learned what I truly enjoyed doing. Working
with small business owners educated me on many industries while bringing
to light work ethics and practices from multiple sources. This offered
me a tremendous opportunity to work with them as technology boomed
through 1998. By this time the world wide web was established and
growing at an immeasurable pace. Between 1996 and 1998 I grew to love
designing websites and put computers and networking on the back burner.
More than half my life was spent in front of a computer and I was 20
years old when my Aunt introduced me to her computer for the first time.
I was intrigued that the computer could play cards with me, and this
inspired me to build my own. I am educated by books, manuals, trial and
error and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have published a few
hundred websites to date, the largest being about 1800 pages with a
gallery of about 1500 images for a demo company over four years. Until a
few years ago, the protocol was to simply design a good site, these days
you have to maintain them if you want to compete on the world wide web.
So my focus now is select long term accounts with small business owners,
allowing me to give focus to their needs 365 days each year which is in
their best interest.
I am transgender or transsexual, a few still refer to me as Andie mostly
because of my voice over the phone. I am proud of who I am, though it
has consumed most of my life, I have finally accepted it. This has no
place in the professional world, but I would rather be straight forward
with my clients than have them draw conclusions about me being a man
named Angie. I have and enjoy a wonderful family, especially my daughter
Crystal. I see the world from two perspectives, which offers my clients
an additional edge from a single source.
I maintain 25 - 30 websites monthly focusing on quality not quantity and
will not accept more than 160 hours of work monthly. I will also not
accept work that is competitive to an existing client in the same
market. I am an extension of my clients with respect to their internet
presence. They confide in me and trust I will focus on their interests
and deliver satisfactory results consistently. My clients pay my bills
and contribute to the welfare of my family, both of which I take very
seriously. Servicing my customers with quality and being thankful for
their contributions, support, referrals and understanding has delivered
over a decade of success. I look forward to many years to come, I extend
myself and help my clients succeed in any way I can.
